This is a testimony of Gary and Gail Steven's obedience to God's instructions. I have watched them minister to hurts of others on the mission field and I am awed by the quiet calmness of Jesus' love reaching through them to others as they minister to their needs. They let God be God. Gail's book is inspiring and encouraging. Listening to Gail share their story from the pulpit brings tears as she shares God's faithfulness to her family. Praise God for Gail's ability to share with many others through this book. I am blessed to be their friend.

I am more than happy to recommend Gail Stevens book, "Double For Your Mourning." Knowing Gail herself is a joy and always an uplift to ones spirit to be with her. Reading her book was a pleasure and an inspiration. The scriptural content is amazing. I believe her greatest gift in this book is sharing herself so vividly. She is open about her struggles and her victories both which can't help but be an encouragement to many.

Gail, Thank you so much for the book. I am still reading it, amazed at how our lives parralleled and we did not know it. The Rainbow was our special word and sign for our adoption. Each child was assigned a color. The candles on the alter were lit by each one in turn during the church adoption ceremony. We sang the Rainbow song too. As I looked at the dates you noted during your preadoption period once again we were on the same path. We got to "keep" the children Oct 31st (Halloween). They were christened during a candlelight service Dec 3rd and "adopted" in church Sunday morning, Dec 4th. It was not legally final till Feb. Your book reminded me of these miracles that I had lost sight of. Thank you for reminding me how God has blessed us. Love, Melanie
